Badioli Family

The glass masters of Mario Badioli’s family are part of Murano glass history for two generations.
Mario Badioli began his career in the early 1950s, and ten years later he decided to set up his own furnace. Here he began to produce unique pieces in small quantities until he reached the famous Picasso Heads, perfecting a particular technique of applying color called “slaps” and colored drops.
His son, Francesco Badioli, was the first who joined with Maestro Mario, until he became one of the most well-known Murano glass masters, and later, also his nephew, Mattia Nasta, joined the family company in 2010.
